GOMEL, 17 March (BelTA) – The international conference of undergraduates and master's students “Topical issues of theory and practice of modern economics” will be held at the Faculty of Economics of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University on 17 March, Deputy Dean of the faculty Irina Glukhova told BelTA.
The forum will be held in a mixed format: online and offline. The conference will bring together over 120 undergraduates and master's students. There will be young scientists not only from Belarus, but also from Russia, Bulgaria, China, Kazakhstan and other countries.
After an opening ceremony and a plenary session, participants of the forum will be grouped into five thematic sections. “They will discuss digital economy, small and medium-sized businesses, and ways to promote entrepreneurship,” the university representative noted.
One of the new areas of discussion will be green economy, non-standard solutions for going green and ways to increase the efficiency of resource-saving technologies.
“Traditional topics are also on the agenda. Among them are public-private partnerships, innovative infrastructure in the regions, social security policy, taxation, promotion of export of products, works, services, investment activities and many others,” Irina Glukhova added.
The reports of the participants will be put together in the collection of conference materials.
