MUSCAT, 14 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko is holding talks with the Crown Prince of Oman and the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, BelTA has learned.
Roman Golovchenko noted during the talks with Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said that a constructive dialogue and mutual interest in cooperation between Belarus and Oman create favorable preconditions for expanding partnerships across the board.
“We have been interacting for more than thirty years. We maintain contacts at the highest, high and interdepartmental levels, we have a shared position on key regional and global issues,” Roman Golovchenko noted.
The Belarusian head of government believes that this sets the stage for a sustainable and consistent dialogue in various areas, including in politics and economy.
The Belarusian head of government is paying an official visit to Oman on 13-14 October. He is scheduled to meet with Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al-Said, and Chairman of the State Council AbdulMalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili. A significant package of documents is expected to be signed during the visit.
