GRODNO DISTRICT, 7 June (BelTA) – During a working trip to Grodno Oblast Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko went to the R&D group Ecological Alternative in Grodno District, BelTA has learned.
The prime minister was made familiar with the process used to make rubber flooring materials and with zero-waste tire recycling. Ecological Alternative Director Yelena Sakovich explained that the enterprise focuses mainly on tire recycling, production of rubber flooring materials and various rubber goods, and on making equipment for tire recycling.
Roman Golovchenko had previously visited the agricultural enterprise named after I.P. Senko in Grodno District. The prime minister hosted a conference on working out a program designed to guide the transition of agriculture to new technological standards. The introduction of precision farming systems was one of the items on the agenda.
Apart from that, Roman Golovchenko laid flowers at a mass grave of Soviet soldiers and partisans, who died during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, in Zhilibera Park in Grodno.
