MINSK, 19 February (BelTA) – A forensic expert from Minsk has raised the National Flag of the Republic of Belarus and the flag of the Belarusian State Forensic Examination Committee (SFEC) on top of the Pastukhov rocks on Elbrus, BelTA has learned from the press service of the SFEC.
The deputy head of the Pervomaisky interdistrict department (city of Minsk) Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Aleksandr Vorontsov once again went on a trip to the Prielbrusye National Park to combine active recreation with conquering new peaks.
From the foot of the mountain, Aleksandr Vorontsov’s tourist group continued their way up to the Gara-Bashi station, which is the highest point of ropeway in Europe, and then to the Pastukhov rocks.
The National Flag of the Republic of Belarus and the flag of the State Forensic Examination Committee were raised at an altitude of more than 4,600 meters above the sea level to honor the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
