Focus on young families and professional growth. A delegate of Belarusian People's Congress on work and life

MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) - At the second session of the 7th Belarusian People's Congress delegates will review the social and economic development program of Belarus for 2026–2030. Denis Kisly, a delegate to the Belarusian People's Congress representing the Belarusian Youth Union BRSM, a software engineer at BELGEE, talked to BelTA to share his views on the priorities of the document.

“After the first session of the 7th Belarusian People's Congress, I actively worked within my team and also went to speak at other enterprises and schools. People showed interest, shared their problems, expressed their wishes, and my task as a delegate is to propose them to the Presidium, acting within my authority,” Denis Kisly noted.

One of the main topics at the second session of the 7th Belarusian People's Congress is Belarus’ social and economic development program for 2026–2030. "We have had sufficient time to familiarize ourselves with the main areas and key indicators. We also actively participated in its discussion and contributed our proposals. The new program prioritizes the individual: their life, work, and high quality of life. This is very important because the document should not merely contain a set of numbers and plans but real tools for improving people's lives. Therefore, when making decisions, public opinion, citizens' expectations, as well as major development trends will be taken into account,” the delegate added.

“Personally, I am particularly interested in the topic of youth policy. Specifically, support for young families, as it is closely tied to the country's demographic security. I am convinced that introducing additional support measures can significantly help young families gain confidence in the future,” Denis Kisly emphasized.

In 2021, he had his first job placement at the passenger car manufacturing plant through the state placement system. “I was amazed by how automated the enterprise is and how well all the processes are structured. I am proud to see more and more domestic cars on city streets. Everything is our own, Belarusian, and that's awesome,” the engineer said. “Moreover, our enterprise pay great attention to young people. During my time working here, I have received additional education and am currently pursuing a second higher degree at the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President. I can confidently say that all conditions for professional development have been created in our country. Belarus is a nation with high human potential. The infrastructure is at a stable level, and we have a rich cultural heritage, so the participation of every citizen from business to culture strengthens and sustains economic development,” Denis Kisly believes.

“I am confident that the social and economic development program for 2026–2030 will lead to a significant improvement in the quality of life. Support for this program can serve as a catalyst for economic growth, the creation of new jobs, and an increase in prosperity. It is important for everyone to understand their role in this process and actively participate in the program's implementation,” the young specialist added.
