MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) - The Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers has provided financial assistance to three medical institutions to mark International Children's Day, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers
Every year, in connection with International Children's Day and as part of the charitable initiative Trade Unions for Children, the sectoral trade union organizes events for children of union members and those undergoing treatment in healthcare institutions. Trade union organizations at all levels visit affiliated institutions, children's homes, family-type homes, and social and pedagogical centers, present gifts to children and provide financial assistance to improve the infrastructure of healthcare facilities.
This year, in order to mark the International Children's Day, the presidium of the National Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers decided to provide financial assistance to three institutions: the National Clinical Center for Pediatric Palliative Care, the National Scientific and Practical Center for Neurology and Neurosurgery, the National Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Surgery.
