MINSK, 19 October (BelTA) – The final stage of the beauty contest for mothers of many titled as Beauty of Belarus 2025 took place in the Minsk City Culture Palace, BelTA has learned.
It is the fifth year the contest has been organized. Its contestants are mothers of many children who actively declare their life goals and objectives and serve as shining examples for their children. Fifteen finalists, who had been selected during two qualifying rounds, competed for the title of the winner.
At the beginning of the competition each participant shared her touching story of how she became a mother. One of the participants managed to start a family despite being diagnosed with infertility while another decided to have another baby after the birth of her special child. Some faced public condemnation for becoming pregnant “early” at the age of 20, but all of these women have managed to overcome these difficulties on their way to family happiness.
One of the organizers of the contest is Aleksandra Nikiforova, a participant in the Mrs. Universe 2019 contest. The jury includes the winner of Beauty of Belarus 2023.
Dmitry Baskov, Deputy Chairman of the Education, Science, Culture, and Social Development Commission of the Council of the Republic, also attended the event. As a father of many children he expressed his sincere admiration for Belarus’ mothers of many and wished them to remain an example not only for their families but also for society as a whole.
“It is no secret that our state has created all the conditions necessary for every family to be able to raise their children in peace and for mothers to feel the care and support of the society and the state. Such contests emphasize the role of women in strengthening the family institution. I think that every finalist of the contest is already a winner, as despite the heavy workload of mothers of many children, they have found the time to overcome their fears and come onto the stage,” the MP said.
The contest is timed to Parental Love Week in Belarus. Dmitry Baskov noted: “Certainly, it is necessary to continue holding such events as part of Parental Love Week. For example, forums like the one in Polotsk. Many speakers throughout Belarus have talked about the importance of strengthening the family institution during this week,” the MP said.
