MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – Svetlana Tikhanovskaya is just a talking head in hands of her overseers, not more than that, BelTA learned from Piotr Petrovsky, an expert of the Belarusian public association Belaya Rus.
Piotr Petrovsky said: “She is a former presidential candidate. She has no political party or any political force. The Coordination Council has broken apart. Protests are not controlled by Tikhanovskaya but totally different people, who are also abroad. This is why Tikhanovskaya is nothing but a talking head in hands of her overseers.”
The expert said he was not surprised by the latest statements made by Svetlana Tikhanovskaya. “The inauguration of the genuinely elected president took place today. This lengthy and epic story, during which Tikhanovskaya could make statements, has ended. This is why, on the one hand, we see certain agony on the part of Tikhanovskaya and her partisans. On the other hand, we see her actions are totally dependent on her overseers,” he stressed. “If we try to evaluate her words, they have absolutely no legal or political meaning because they don't reflect the reality, in which Tikhanovskaya and her partisans exist at present. And the entire Belarus exists, now without Tikhanovskaya and her partisans.”
