
MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) - As of 1 May, Minsk has 57 hotels of various ownership types, Director General of Capital Trade and Services company Ivan Supranovich said during a meeting in the Minsk City Executive Committee, BelTA has learned.
According to Ivan Supranovich, the hotels in Minsk have 6,200 rooms available and can accommodate up to 11,600 guests at a time. Additionally, 19 hostels are in operation. The average occupancy rate is 61%.
“We see an influx of foreign tourists, and their share is increasing. This is a positive trend for the city's hotels. We strive to meet guests' expectations by analyzing user trends, studying demand nuances, and considering customer preferences,” he said.
Ivan Supranovich also stated that efforts to develop hotel infrastructure are being carried out in line with new tourist demands and market dynamics.
