MOSCOW, 12 September (BelTA) — Students from Equatorial Guinea have arrived in Belarus to study at the country’s universities, Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to Russia with concurrent accreditation to Belarus Luciano Nkogo Ndong Ayekaba said at a meeting with Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
The parties praised the recent intensification of cooperation between Belarus and Equatorial Guinea and agreed that the highest and high-level visits paid in 2023 had given an impetus to the bilateral cooperation. The parties emphasized the importance of implementing the agreements reached in agriculture, construction and healthcare. The ambassadors supported the ratification of a number of bilateral agreements signed in 2023 by the parliaments of the two countries.
“The ambassador of Equatorial Guinea noted the importance of cooperation development in education and thanked Belarus for its work thanks to which students from Equatorial Guinea have come to study in Belarusian universities,” the press service added.
