Electric car developed by bulgarian experts to be shown at Plovdiv fair this fall

The electric vehicle falls into the heavy quadricycles category and has no extras, because such would reduce the car's 80 km range and 50 km/h speed. The car will be twice smaller than conventional models, with two seats and a luggage compartment. It is in the low-budget class and is equipped with lead batteries, which in addition to being recyclable, are also a source of power, and that will reduce electricity consumption from the power grid. This will allow each household to meet up to 50-60 per cent of their daily electricity consumption needs, Oreshkov explained.

He explains that his company's philosophy is based on the goal of achieving sustainable economy with zero energy growth. This pertains to electrical consumption in general. If humanity does not achieve zero growth in energy consumption, nature will strike back, he concludes.
