MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) - The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus has started accrediting observers from the CIS observation mission for the presidential election 2025, CEC Chairman Igor Karpenko told the media on 4 December, BelTA has learned.
“I would like to emphasize that the accreditation of the CIS observation mission has already been carried out, but it is to continue. Head of the mission Sergei Lebedev will traditionally receive accreditation certificate number one,” Igor Karpenko said.
Belarus’ presidential election is scheduled for 26 January 2025.
