MOSCOW, 23 April (BelTA) – The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved the draft agreement on auditing activities in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Aide to the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Iya Malkina told a press briefing following the session of the EEC Council on 22-23 April, BelTA had learned.
“This is the key document aimed at creating a common market for auditing services,” Iya Malkina noted. “Under the agreement, qualification certificates issued in one EAEU member state will be recognized in other member states. This will help expand opportunities for companies, improve investment attractiveness and effectiveness of audit companies,” she added.
The document approved by the EEC Council will be sent to the EAEU member states for domestic procedures necessary for signing the agreement.
