
MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) - The 3rd international specialized ecological exhibition Ecology Expo in Minsk has brought together 183 exhibitors, Belarusian Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Sergei Maslyak said on the sidelines of the event, BelTA has learned.
This year the exhibition is held under the motto “Green Innovations for a Sustainable Future”. “It is a unique platform for dialogue, experience exchange, and showcasing the most innovative solutions. Last time, the exhibition featured over 130 exhibitors. This time, there are 183. They include various enterprises and organizations from our country and abroad. This indicates to a high level of interest. This is confirmed by the participation of a large delegation of partners and friends from the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment at both regional and federal levels. Representatives from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Mongolia, with whom we maintain close ties, are also taking part,” Sergei Maslyak said.

He emphasized that the goal shared by all is to preserve and enhance what we have and pass it on to future generations. “The fact that so many participants are present at the event today, with thousands of eyes focused on it, shows that we are on the right path. May all the innovative technologies that will be applied in the future for the development of our beloved country find reflection in practice,” Sergei Maslyak stressed.

The 3rd Ecology Expo, held under the motto "Green Innovations for a Sustainable Future”, kicked off in Minsk on 19 August and will be running for three days. The expo is set to host representatives of government bodies, ministries, and agencies from the CIS and other countries, Belarusian and foreign companies, international organizations, and scientists. They will discuss key issues in green economy development, exchange best practices, and showcase achievements in the field of environmental protection.
