MINSK, 21 October (BelTA) - The fifth edition of the CIS Scientists Forum will be held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on 22-25 October, BelTA learned from the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund.
The forum will draw together the heads and leading scientists of the academies of sciences and the largest research centers, educational organizations of the CIS member states. They are set to discuss the main trends in the development of fundamental sciences, the state and prospects of their development, talk about topical problems of modern technical science, and consider key areas of social sciences.
The CIS Scientists Forum will be co-located with the 12th meeting of the CIS Council for Cooperation in Fundamental Science and the first meeting of the CIS Council of Young Scientists under the Council for Cooperation in Fundamental Science.
The forum has been organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan with the support of the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund.
