MINSK, 16 October (BelTA) – The entire ideological vertical must operate as a single whole, as a single mechanism. Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Vladimir Pertsov made the statement at a session of the working group in charge of preparing a draft directive on realizing the basics of ideology of the Belarusian state on 16 October, BelTA has learned.
Vladimir Pertsov stressed: “The entire ideological vertical must operate as a single whole, as a single mechanism with regard to the approaches that you and I have to implement through joint efforts into this document and realize later on.”
Work on the directive proceeded bearing in mind the task previously formulated by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko. The working group thoroughly examined cutting-edge practices of the ideological vertical, the existing legal base. The working group summarized and initiated proposals on updating the legal base taking into account recent changes in the structure of the Belarusian society.
The directive is supposed to accomplish the task of building an efficient ideological top-down command structure taking into account real interests and demands of the population.
