MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Andrei Molchan has met with Venezuela's Deputy Minister of Tourism Leticia Gomez, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed further steps to promote bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism, including the exchange of visits and the development of a legal framework in this area. They emphasized the importance of launching direct flights between Caracas and Minsk and welcomed the continuous joint efforts to further this initiative.
The parties also examined a possibility of Belarus' participation in the construction and refurbishment of tourism infrastructure facilities in Venezuela.
