MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) - Demography and family support issues are a priority and under constant control, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic, National Coordinator for Sustainable Development Goals Anatoly Isachenko said as he met with Head of the United Nations Fund for Population Activities country office in Belarus Olga Atroshchenko, BelTA learned from the press service of the upper house of Belarus' parliament.
“The issues of demography and family support are under constant control of the president and are among the priorities of the state policy,” said the Vice Speaker of the Council of the Republic.
The parties also discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation with UNFPA.
