GOMEL, 21 May (BelTA) – The delegation of Russia’s Magadan Oblast got familiar with the potential of the Belarusian agricultural machinery manufacturer Gomselmash, BelTA has learned.
The delegation was shown the exhibition of branded machinery, production processes, including the main conveyor of the enterprise. Dmitry Mulyar, Deputy Commercial Director - Director of the Marketing and Advertising Center of Gomselmash, explained that taking into account climatic changes, the enterprise considers this region as a promising one in the future. “We work with more than 60 regions of the Russian Federation. This is our main export market. In January-April 2024, the export there made up almost 105% as compared to the same period of 2023. Today we are ready to present our new models to the region,” he said.
This year’s novelty is 230hp GS 400 harvester. The throughput capacity of the vehicle is almost 10 tonnes per hour. “We believe that this product will be of interest primarily to the regions of the Far East, Siberian and Ural Federal Districts. We also count on the interest in this product from the neighboring countries, including Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and others,” Dmitry Mulyar said. The manufacturer takes into account the needs and working conditions within the customer's territory and fits the machinery in accordance with the request. “For example, the Far East needs cross-country vehicles. We often fulfill certain orders and wishes of consumers, including four-wheel drive, caterpillar tread,” the deputy director added.
The day before, the delegation from Magadan Oblast headed by Governor Sergei Nosov discussed the prospects of cooperation at the meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko. The parties agreed that there is a significant potential for increasing bilateral cooperation. Prospects have been outlined primarily in the industrial sectors, including machine building.
