MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) – Defense Minister of Belarus, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin and Minister of the Armed Forces of Cuba, Army Corps General Álvaro López Miera have signed cooperation documents, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
The documents were signed during the official visit of Defense Minister of Belarus Viktor Khrenin to Cuba.
According to the Defense Ministry, Viktor Khrenin and Álvaro López Miera exchanged views on the international situation and substantively discussed cooperation prospects in the defense sector. They pointed to the two countries’ shared views on the international agenda, strong historical ties and common approaches to assessing key problems of our time.
