MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian army will receive the latest Su-30SM2 fighter aircraft next week, Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin told journalists following the oath-taking ceremony for the new recruits at the 72nd Guards Joint Training Center, BelTA has learned.
According to the defense minister, the Belarusian Armed Forces are receiving new models of equipment all the time.
“By the way, we will get the latest Su-30SM2 aircraft next week,” Viktor Khrenin said. The defense minister emphasized that the aircraft have been upgraded taking into account the experience of the special military operation.
Speaking about other types of equipment, Viktor Khrenin named the Mi-35 helicopters, BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, as well as electronic warfare devices and unmanned aircraft systems.
