MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – Another death of a refugee: Lithuanian law enforcement officers keep getting rid of dead bodies of refugees, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
A border patrol found the dead body of a beaten-up and exhausted man with non-Slavonic appearance at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border on 28 November. The border patrol determined that the body had been dragged from Lithuania across the border to Belarus.
An investigation team was dispatched to ascertain circumstances of what has happened and the cause of death.
It is the sixth victim of the cynical and inhumane policy Lithuania and Poland pursue towards people in a vulnerable position that has been found at the border with the European Union, the State Border Committee of Belarus said.
