Days of St. Petersburg to kick off in Minsk on 14 July 

MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) – The Days of St. Petersburg will be held in Minsk on 14-15 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

A delegation from St. Petersburg headed by city governor Alexander Beglov arrived in Minsk. The city on the Neva River has prepared a packed program for Minsk residents.

The Days of St. Petersburg in Minsk will open with a ceremony of laying wreaths at the Victory Monument. 14 July will see the roundtables to exchange experience in various fields of activity: healthcare, tourism, youth policy and archival affairs.

According to the Healthcare Ministry, the delegation includes the heads of the Napalkov St. Petersburg Clinical Research and Treatment Center for Specialist Medical Care (oncological), the Children's City Multidisciplinary Clinical Specialized Center for High Medical Technologies, the International Heart Center, and others. The Russian colleagues are set to visit the Healthcare Ministry, the National Research and Treatment Center Mother and Child, the National Research and Treatment Center of Cardiology, the National Research and Treatment Center of Pediatric Surgery, hospitals and polyclinics of Minsk.

Minsk residents and guests of the capital will have an opportunity to see the photo exhibition celebrating St Petersburg in the Stolitsa shopping center.
On 15 July, the Russian delegation is scheduled to meet with the leadership of Minsk. Business dialogues to discuss matters relevant for the two cities will be held on the same day.

The Days of St. Petersburg in Minsk will wrap up with a cultural gift for Minsk residents: the premiere of the Crime and Punishment production by the Boris Eifman St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theater on the stage of the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater.
