MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Cuba Vitaly Borchuk took part in the opening of the Health for All Trade Fair as a member of the Belarusian delegation on 22 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Cuba.
The event is underway in Havana on 21-24 April. As part of the collective stand, the enterprises of Belpharmprom Holding Company (Belmedpreparaty, Borisov Plant of Medical Preparations, and Minskintercaps) and Akadempharm organized a presentation of the Belarusian pharmaceutical industry. The information targeted the ministries, agencies and businesses of the Republic of Cuba, as well as visitors of the exhibition.
Plans are in place to issue Cuban certificates for Belarusian medicines and sign commercial contracts as part of the Salud para Todos week.
On the first day of the Health for All Trade Fair the Belarusian stand was visited by Cuban Minister of Public Health Jose Angel Portal Miranda. He emphasized Cuba’s interest in implementing the plans and expanding Belarusian-Cuban cooperation in healthcare, pharmaceuticals and biotechnologies.
