MOSCOW, 30 November (BelTA) – A session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held via videoconferencing under the chairmanship of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on 1 December, BelTA learned from the CSTO website.
“The foreign ministers will review the state of and prospects for the development of global and regional security and the key aspects of the CSTO activities. The participants will take stock of Russia's presidency in the organization which will pass over to Tajikistan. The session will focus on the cooperation between the CSTO and the UN, especially in peacekeeping issues,” the website reads.
The session of the CSTO Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs will also feature CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas.
