MINSK, 30 November (BelTA) – The Council of Ministers of Defense of the Member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is set to hold a video conference on 1 December, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
Taking part in the meeting will be the defense ministers of the CSTO member states and also CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas and head of the CSTO Joint Staff Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov. The Belarusian delegation will be represented by Defense Minister Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin.
The agenda of the meeting will include a number of military, military-technical and military-scientific issues. The parties will also share opinions on challenges and threats to military security in the collective security regions.
Decisions adopted at the meeting will be used to work out common approaches and mechanisms to develop the CSTO military component.
