MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) – The number of new COVID-19 cases is growing at a slightly slower rate in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Healthcare Ministry.
“In almost all regions, the epidemiological situation allows for the gradual return of some hospital departments to the regular mode of operation. All national research centers and some hospitals in regions and in Minsk continue providing the full range of routine medical care,” the ministry noted.
Experts point out that coronavirus refers to acute respiratory viral infections. Vaccination is the only effective way of preventing the disease and its severe outcomes. Today people in Belarus can get vaccinated in almost all polyclinics, as well as in hospitals, malls and even in the metro.
