MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – The hybrid international research conference “Communication in social and humanitarian affairs, economy, and education” will take place at Belarusian State University (BSU) on 13-14 May, BelTA learned from the BSU press service.
The welcoming address will be delivered by Dean of the BSU Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences Vadim Gigin and President of the Russian Communication Association Irina Rozina.
The conference will bring together researhcers, teachers, and postgraduate and undergraduate students from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Estonia, and Latvia. It will comprise two sections: “Research in digital society” and “Communication technology”. The participants will discuss modern tendencies in media communications and PR, the impact of media culture, and the society's perception of information technology and advertising.
The conference will include roundtables to discuss achievements and promotion of public service announcements in the digital environment as well as mediametry technologies and prospects for their development in Belarus. Experts will discuss ways to introduce mediametry technologies in Belarus and exchange best practices and achievements in promoting public service announcements on the internet.
Following the conference, the BSU will compile a collection of research papers and upload it into the BSU Digital Library. The organizer of the event is the Faculty of Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the BSU.
