MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – The concert “We are together!” took place outside the National Library of Belarus within the framework of the nationwide social and cultural campaign Marathon of Unity. The concert gathered young performers and prominent Belarusian bloggers on the same stage. Participants of the concert created an unforgettable atmosphere and an abundance of positive emotions for the spectators, BelTA has learned.
“The energy of the concert was simply incredible! To see music bring people together is truly a special feeling. Today we’ve proved that together we can do a lot of good and important things,” the concert’s participant Maksim Andreichenko shared his impressions.
The concert venue became not only a place for art but kind of a symbol of unity. Spectators eagerly took commemorative photos against the backdrop of the marathon’s symbols while participants received branded souvenirs in exchange for posting the photos in social networks. “It was pleasant and unexpected to receive a gift in exchange for a simple selfie. It creates a special connection between organizers and participants,” the concert’s participant Yelena Safronova noted.
The party was accompanied by tasty food, too: a food court was available with hot beverages, tea, and delicacies to suit every taste. They kept the spectators warm in cool weather.
Guests of the concert by general consent agreed that such events inspire and motivate people. “It is not simply a concert. It is a celebration of our strength and unity. I am very glad that I’ve become part of this event,” one of the spectators, a university student Kirill Shutko shared the emotions.
The concert culminated in the flash mob “We sing the national anthem together”.
