CIS foreign ministers to meet in Minsk on 12 April

MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) – The CIS Foreign Ministers Council is set to hold its meeting in Minsk on 12 April, CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev told the media on 27 February, BelTA has learned.

Minsk is hosting a regular meeting of the CIS Plenipotentiaries Council. The participants of the meeting are set to take stock of foreign policy cooperation within the CIS in 2023 in the context of the CIS international positioning.

“Yesterday I had a meeting with Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik, and we discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council due to take place in Minsk on 12 April. The first issue on the agenda of the upcoming session will be an exchange of views between the foreign ministers on the situation in the world and on the coordination of our actions in the international arena,” Sergei Lebedev said.
