MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) - Representatives of the Defense Ministries of the CIS countries outlined the key joint events on the sports agenda, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
A meeting of the Sports Committee under the CIS Defense Ministers Council was held at the press center of the Sports Committee of the Armed Forces of Belarus.
Representatives of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan discussed topical issues in the work of the defense departments in the sport sector.
The parties discussed the development of a long-term plan of the main events until 2030 and the preparations to imperilment the plan of events in sports held within the framework of the 17th spartakiad of friendly armies of the CIS member states dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
