CIS children's rights commissioners to meet in Bishkek on 18 June

MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) - A regular meeting of the working group coordinating the organization of international events for the commissioners for children's rights (ombudsmen) of the CIS member states was held via video conference on 19 May, BelTA learned from the legal department of the CIS Executive Committee.

Participating in the meeting were representatives from Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and the CIS Executive Committee. The meeting touched upon preparations for the fifth session of the CIS Commissioners for Children's Rights Commission, which will take place in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on 18 June. The experts reviewed plans for an international online conference to discuss the negative impact of artificial intelligence on child socialization, which is scheduled for 3 June 2025. The experts also discussed a draft regulation for the Children’s Council under the commission.

The regular meeting of the working group coordinating the organization of international events for the CIS Commissioners for Children's Rights Commission is scheduled for 5 June.
