MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) - The Central Election Commissions of Belarus and Uzbekistan will sign a protocol on cooperation, Chairman of the Belarusian Central Election Commission Igor Karpenko told reporters, BelTA has learned.
"We will sign a protocol of cooperation with the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan. This will take place during a ceremony to open the CEC information center. This will happen on Saturday [24 February]. We will sign the protocol then," Igor Karpenko said.
According to him, the opening ceremony will be followed by a press conference "on the work carried out in the country ahead of the single voting day," the head of the CEC added.
