MINSK, 23 February (BelTA) - In Belarus, the door of all polling stations are open to international observers, Chairman of the Belarusian Central Election Commission Igor Karpenko said at a meeting with the observation mission of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BelTA has learned.
"You know that Belarus is working to build a good foundation in the cooperation with the organization [the Shanghai Cooperation Organization]. Unfortunately, the modern architecture of the world order is bursting at the seams. On our part, we share the new ideas based on mutual respect, cooperation, and interaction," Igor Karpenko said.
The CEC head noted that the observation missions will be provided with all the necessary information. "We have this principle: doors of all polling stations and commissions are open to international observers. In this regard, we are open and ready to share all the necessary information. All our commissions are open to communication. Therefore, we wish you fruitful work in Belarus," Igor Karpenko added.
