MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) – A total of 362 international observers have already been accredited for the presidential election in Belarus, Chairman of the Belarusian Central Election Commission Igor Karpenko told the media in Minsk on 10 January, BelTA learned.
“Accreditation of foreign (international) observers continues. We have already accredited 362 such observers,” Igor Karpenko noted. “Among them are representatives from the CIS, IPA CIS, SCO, CSTO PA, Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement, election bodies of foreign states, independent observers. In terms of geographical representation we have observers from about 40 countries, including about 15 European countries, countries of the African continent, Latin America, Asia, CIS”.

The presidential election in Belarus is scheduled for 26 January 2025.
