MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) - Supreme Head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk on 17 May to honor fallen heroes. According to various sources, more than 50,000 Armenian soldiers fought in the battles for the liberation of Belarus, with 10,000 of them heroically sacrificing their lives for the common victory.
