On 15 May, about 200 cadets of the Polotsk Cadet School took part in the event "Here the war began" in the run-up to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. The cadets visited the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex, laid flowers at the Eternal Fire in the Ceremonials Square and took part in a rally to commemorate those who died during the Great Patriotic War.
The event was organized with the support of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
