MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – The Bulbash Fest invites ice hockey fans to try the best of the Belarusian cuisine on 18 May, BelTA learnt from the tourism and marketing department of the Silichi ski resort.
The festival of the Belarusian traditional cuisine will take place in Silichi. Visitors will be invited to a tasting room where they will be able to try a variety of potato dishes, lard seasoned with garlic, horse radish or cucumbers, jellied meat, sausages, kvass, birch juice, barley beverages and many more. They will be able to take part in a draniki eating contest and a Belarusian cuisine master class.
The Bulbash Fest offers an exciting and diverse entertainment program that will introduce foreigners to Belarusian ancient rites and customs, like the Bulbash dedication ceremony and Tsereshka's Wedding rite. Visitors will be able to listen to folk bands and pop music performers, take part in contests, watch history re-enactment shows, participate in master classes, and many more. Carting, quad bikes, paintball, ropeway will also be available. A theatrical performance, quizzes, contests and a disco will be organized for children.
Visitors will be able to buy Belarus-made products, souvenirs and traditional clothing.
More than 3,000 people are expected to visit the festival.
