MINSK, 4 February (BelTA) – Foreign students will be able to enroll in the master's program in international trade (economics, politics, law) that has been launched at Belarusian State University (BSU). The new major is available in English and is part of the World Economy specialty of the BSU master's program, BelTA learned from the press service of the university.
“The first students will be 49 Chinese citizens. They will study the disciplines that explore the economic, political and legal aspects of international trade. These are Micro- and Macroeconomic Analysis and Policy, World Economy and Foreign Economic Policy, International Trade and Incoterms, International Trade Law, Innovative Management, and World Politics. The master's program also includes classes on international contracts, digital trade technologies, the World Trade Organization's regulations on foreign trade and the practice of diplomacy,” the press service said.
The master's program will combine the efforts of the teaching staff of four departments of the Faculty of International Relations, namely international economic relations, international relations, international private and European law, diplomatic and consular services. The department of international economic relations will be in charge of the program.
The new major was opened to address the needs of the labor market and the economy.
Belarusian State University offers master's programs in 47 specialties, 23 of which are available in English.
