MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) – Belarusian State University has launched the new program in international cyber law for foreign students as part of the Legal Studies specialty at the Faculty of International Relations, BelTA learned from the BSU press service.
The new educational program will be interdisciplinary, which provides for interaction between departments of the faculty. Students will study international public and private law, international security law, technical mechanisms of personal data protection, legal regulations, and social media, as well as international humanitarian law in cyberspace.
The BSU has offered the new master's program as part of its efforts to improve master's educational programs, keep up with the development of information technology, and meet the demands at the labor market. The new program will be offered in the English language.
This is the second interdisciplinary master's program in English launched at the Faculty of International Relations. In February 2021, the BSU launched the program in international trade (economics, politics, law) that is part of the World Economy specialty. As many as 47 foreign students have enrolled in the program.
