MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) - Belarus' Ambassador to Israel Evgeny Vorobyev visited the Breslov Hasidic community in one of Jerusalem's oldest Jewish neighborhoods, Mea Shearim, at the invitation of Rabbi Kramer, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
The meeting was attended by the spiritual leader and co-founder of the community Rabbi Shmuel Moshe Kramer. The main topic of the conversation was the events around the September pilgrimage of the Israeli Hasidic pilgrims through Belarus to the burial place of the founder of the Breslov Hasidic movement Rebbe Nachman. Rabbi Kramer expressed s great gratitude from the Hasidic communityto Belarus for providing assistance to the pilgrims during their stay in Belarus.
According to the participants of the pilgrimage, they were amazed by the sincere and unselfish hospitality of the Belarusians. The rabbi conveyed the wishes of well-being to the country's leadership and all Belarusian people.
