MINSK, 5 August (BelTA) – Reservists of the Grodno branch of the Belarusian border service are going through various kinds of training as part of a combat shakedown, representatives of the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
According to the source, units from the mobilization reserve of the Grodno branch of the Belarusian border service are expected to go through combat shakedown in the training facility Belyany on 5-6 August. As part of the refresher course the reservists will relearn their border service skills. The training facility offers practical classes focusing on border service tactics, combined arms training, special training, and firearms training.
Apart from that, the reservists will practice apprehending border trespassers, including using weapons, physical force, and special tools.
According to the State Border Committee of Belarus, the reservists show a responsible attitude to the classes. It will allow successfully achieving the specified tasks.
