MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) - The YouTube channel of the BelTA news agency has become the first among the Belarusian state media outlets to reach a remarkable milestone of 2 million subscribers.
A convergent approach and a well-built strategy let the team of the country’s main news agency increase the number of subscribers in a relatively short period of time.
Today, BelTA's YouTube channel includes several areas popular with the audience. The focus is on projects about the activities of the Belarusian president. Three new major projects are After the Fact: Lukashenko’s Decisions, President’s Week, and How it Was. All of them are published with subtitles in English. Some videos, primarily with statements of the Belarusian president, have subtitles in German. This makes it possible to attract foreign audience.
The project On Point, initially aired once a week, enjoys strong popularity. Today it is broadcast on BelTA's YouTube channel at least three times a week. The project has been recently expanded to include the following sections On Point. History, On Point. Health, On Point. Traditions.
In addition to Belarus, the top 10 countries watching BelTA's YouTube channel are Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Uzbekistan, the USA, the Netherlands, the UK, Latvia, and Moldova.
