MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) — Currently, Russia and Belarus are completing the work on an agreement on military security guarantees and a new Security Concept of Russia and Belarus, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov said at a meeting of the joint board of the defense ministries of Belarus and Russia in Minsk on 23 October, BelTA has learned.
"The work on the Belarus-Russia agreement on mutual security guarantees and a new Security Concept of Russia and Belarus is nearing completion," Andrei Belousov said.
The Russian defense minister noted that the two countries are working to form the common defense space and to improve the cooperation on the joint use of the Armed Forces to ensure their military security.
