Belavia to fly to Moscow's Sheremetyevo, add flights to Istanbul, Tbilisi, Batumi

MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian air carrier Belavia is resuming flights to Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport and increasing the number of flights to Istanbul, Tbilisi, and Batumi, BelTA learned from Belavia's website.

“Belavia has got the green light to opearte flights to Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport. It will fly to Sheremetyevo from 10 June five times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays,” the website reads.

Belavia is also increasing the number of flights to other destinations. From 12 June, the air carrier will perform flights to Istanbul 14 times a week instead of 10, two times every day. The number of flights to Batumi will double from 7 to 14 from 15 June. These flights will also be performed twice every day.

From 15 June, Belavia will increase the number of flights to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, from 7 to 11. The additional flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
