MINSK, 15 July (BelTA) – An army championship in parachuting is taking place near Grodno, BelTA has learned.
An open championship of Belarus' Armed Forces is taking place in the Karolino airfield near Grodno. Over 100 people in 16 men's and 10 women's teams are taking part in the championship. A combined team of the Belarusian army, a team of the Special Operations Command, the Air Force and Air Defense Command are also taking part in it. Athletes from the Airborne Forces of Russia, the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry, and seven Belarusian aeroclubs are also taking part in the competitions.
The competition program includes accuracy landing and aerobatics. The best athletes will be named individually and as teams.
