
MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin has presented state awards to people from various professional backgrounds, including BelTA employees, BelTA has learned.
“We have gathered here today to honor the people whose outstanding merits and selfless labor have become a shining example of service to our Motherland. On the instructions of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, I will present state awards to the best representatives of the labor collectives of the country. In this hall we have the people who have made an invaluable contribution with their professionalism, talent, dedication and the highest responsibility to various sectors, each of which is the foundation of the well-being and prosperity of our homeland," Aleksandr Turchin said. |Your tireless work, skill and energy enable us to move forward. You are the pride of our country.”

The awardees include many workers of the manufacturing sector, the energy sector, cultural and art luminaries, media representatives, and civil servants. "The labor of all of you, and the people of the Republic of Belarus as a whole, is an indispensable guarantee of independence and development of our country. Labor is an expression of our identity, our culture and our values. Every day millions of people contribute to our common cause. Their efforts form the strength of the country, strengthen social ties and create the future for the next generations," the head of government said.

Each of these awards is a testament to the high recognition of dedication, commitment, and love for the country. In recognition of many-year productive work and high professionalism the Medal of Francysk Skaryna was awarded to Yevgeny Vanshin, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Activities Coverage Department at the Belarusian news agency BelTA. The president's letter of commendation was presented to Yelena Krutolevich, Editor-in-Chief of the Information Editorial Office at BelTA, in recognition of outstanding professional excellence, significant personal contributions to the country’s cultural development and the organization of national events.

The Medal for Labor Merits was presented to Director of NIIstromavtoliniya Sergei Shushkov in recognition of more than 50 years of work experience. He expressed gratitude for receiving such a prestigious award. "My work gives me creative fulfillment. Making decisions requires a creative approach, and I enjoy it," he said.
