MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko will pay a working visit to Armenia to participate in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and a plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum, BelTA learned from the government press service.
Yerevan is hosting the regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Eurasian Economic Forum will be held on 30 September-1 October. The agenda includes 21 items, five of which are planned to be discussed during the narrow-format meeting.
"We have raised another additional issue. It is expected that other states may also introduce issues that have not yet been included in the agenda. We are set to have an in-depth discussion of such issues as unification of approaches within the framework of risk management systems, personnel support of the EEC Board, approval of the EAEU budget for 2025 and others," the prime minister said.
Roman Golovchenko is scheduled to meet with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to discuss current issues of interaction within the Union State on the sidelines of the session.
As it was reported, the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council with the participation of the heads of government of the EAEU member states will be held on 30 September-1 October.
The heads of government are set to discuss the main areas of industrial cooperation within the EAEU until 2030 and to approve the concept of the EAEU common exchange organized market of goods and rules of information exchange in the EAEU common electricity market.
The prime ministers of the EAEU countries will discuss an action plan to the EAEU coherent transport policy for 2024-2026 and some issues of harmonization of the EAEU countries' laws in civil aviation. The participants will also hear reports on the progress in the formation of the EAEU common gas market and common markets for oil and oil products in 2023.
