MINSK, 16 September (BelTA) - We will place the main emphasis on welfare issues, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Igor Sergeyenko said in an interview with the ONT TV channel ahead of the second session of the House of Representatives that opens on 17 September, BelTA has learned.
“On the agenda are several bills on employment and on pensions for military personnel. We will also look into issues related to criminal law. Here I mean the law introduced by the president on amendments to the Criminal Code which will make it possible to differentiate specific crimes and introduce alternative punishment," Igor Sergeyenko said.
The chairman of the House of Representatives added: "One of the bills concerns credits, loans. One of the innovations that is being considered is a loan deferment option for people who are in a difficult life situation. These are just small examples that should improve life of people."
