Belarusian minister of internal affairs attends World Police Summit in Dubai

MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov is expected to meet with the Interpol leadership and foreign colleagues at the World Police Summit in Dubai, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The World Police Summit brings together heads of police agencies from different countries, security experts, and heads of international organizations to exchange experience and strengthen co-operation. More than a dozen conferences will hear from various keynote speakers and discuss topical issues. In addition, there are three new platforms at the forum. The academic area is dedicated to research by the world's leading universities and police institutes. The startup zone is focused on innovations and entrepreneurship in the field of public security. The demonstration center simulates real situations related to law enforcement.

On the margins of the summit, the Belarusian Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov is set to have bilateral working meetings with his foreign colleagues and Interpol leadership to discuss aspects of joint work in many areas. The Belarusian minister has already held a number of meetings with colleagues from the CIS member states.
